We are a classic American steak house located in Montrose Colorado, providing upscale dining to casual people.

The Stone House opened the doors in December 2008 as a family owned restaurant and has been serving the local and tourist market proudly ever since.
The Stone House restaurant today is a beautiful stone and wood building located on Highway 550 across from Walmart, but it started as an old ’50s style diner that looked like a metal trailer. After a year and a half of remodeling and re-engineering, the building emerged in the transformed state you see today.
The Stone House remains one of the nicest eating establishments in Montrose. Even though we are an upscale place, our heart remains with the casual people that have made us a success. We are dedicated to treating our employees like family and our guests as just that . . . guests!

We would love for you to make a reservation ahead of time so we can serve you better. Please fill out the reservation form or call the restaurant and we will take care of it for you! Larger parties need to call the restaurant so we can ensure you will be accomodated appropriately.
